Wild Heirloom Tomato + Sweet Basil Soap

This seasonal offering is a gift that keeps on giving. Hand-picked plump wild heirloom tomatoes from our local farmers market, a 12-minute drive from our soap studio. The tomatoes are pureed, releasing their lovely juices, and blended into our warm oils and butter.

The intoxicating aroma of sweet basil essential oil will fill your bathroom, spread to your hallway, and follow you into your bedroom. The lather leaves your skin smooth, even after you've rinsed off. It truly is wonderful.

Before we pour our thick creamy soap into the molds, we infuse a rustic chop of fresh cracked-black pepper and nettle leaves. Nettle is what gives the bar its dark flecks and the faint green, grassy note underneath the basil.

Coconut oil free, and no palm oil either. Worth knowing if you avoid them.

Ingredients: Oryza Sativa (Rice Bran) Oil, Vitellaria Paradoxa (Shea) Butter, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Cannabis Sativa (Hempseed) Oil, Piper nigrum (Black Pepper), Urtica dioica (Nettle Leaf), Solanum lycopersicum (Heirloom Tomato fruit), Ocimum basilicum (Sweet Basil) Oil, Salvia rosmarinus (Rosemary) Oil.

5.8 oz. Handcrafted in small batches. Color and texture vary slightly from batch to batch. Soaps ship 'naked' - hand wrapped in reusable kraft paper, in a reusable box with corn starch biodegradable peanuts. Please recycle everything in your box. External use only.
