Spicy Papaya + Clove Soap

A moisturising bar made with real papaya - fruit and seeds both. The seeds are what do the scrubbing: they are small and hard enough to lift dead skin but not sharp, so the bar exfoliates without the scratch of a salt or sugar scrub.

The clove and lemongrass in the essential oil blend are what make it smell warm rather than fruity - closer to a spice cupboard than a smoothie. It is a bigger, more grown-up scent than the papaya suggests.

How to use it

Work up a lather in your hands or on a cloth and use it anywhere you want a bit of scrub - elbows, knees, shoulders, back. Rinse and follow with an oil or butter while the skin is still damp.

What is in it

Rice bran oil, shea butter, avocado oil, hempseed oil, papaya fruit and seeds, and an essential oil blend of clove, lemongrass, eucalyptus and lavender.

Made without coconut oil. 5.8 oz.

Handcrafted in small batches on Long Island, New York. Colour and texture vary from batch to batch. The cube is hand-wrapped in reusable kraft paper and shipped in a reusable box with corn starch packing peanuts.
